Welcome to Jordans Tennis Club

Welcome to our web site and our online court booking system.

We are a small friendly club with a single hard court in a lovely village.  Our tennis is social and relaxed for players with beginners of any level welcome.  We run various regular open sessions/roll-ups, have easy to book court sessions as well as offering members coaching for an additional charge. 

Our court is located just off The Green, in the heart of the village.

Details of our history are a little sketchy but hope this gives you a flavour:-

The following is a summary of an item contained within the annual report from 1936 of Jordans Village Ltd..  Within the report, the Chairman, GB Jeffery, notes that “During the year an agreement has been made with Jordans Tennis Club as a result of which a new grass court is in the process of construction which will replace the court hitherto used on the Village Green. The Society has provided the site at nominal rent and has made a loan of £75 to the club. The Club has provided guarantors for the repayment of the loan over a period of years. The Committee is glad to learn that interest in the Tennis Club has been stimulated by this development and that it is hoped that the new court will be ready for use during the forthcoming summer.”
