Retrieval of tennis balls from adjacent gardens

We have recently been addressed by at least one resident of the properties adjacent to the tennis court about people entering the property without permission to recover tennis balls. This is particularly an issue in the warmer months were the residents are often out in their gardens enjoying the weather.

We must respect the privacy of our neigbours so we request all players not to enter properties to look for balls without first asking permission if the person is in the garden, otherwise wait for the ball to be returned to the court and collect it on a subsequent visit.

Returned balls of good/moderate quality will be kept in the hut at end of the court. It is unlocked so you can easily check if your lost balls have been returned.
