Thank you to all those members and their families who braved the 'worst' day of the summer and crowded in to the Village Hall last Saturday. I hope you found the event enjoyable albeit a little chaotic!
I would also like to thank all the children who I thought were fantastic.
Our next social event is only a few weeks away, the annual 'relaxed and informal' doubles competition for The John Rootes Trophy. This will be held at Beaconsfield Tennis Club on Sunday 17th June from 14:00 till about 17:00. All adult members are invited, irrespective of ability for a round robin style tournament. Members will be paired at random, but ideally as a male/female pair (as we have 2 slightly sexist trophies!)
We will have use of 2 or 3 courts based on numbers and the committee will provide refreshments to keep us energised!
Please let me know ASAP if you would like to join us and hopefully this time we will have some sun!!!
