Membership Renewal Form 2021

JTC 2021 Membership Renewal:
Please find attached the Renewal Form for your membership for 2021. Fees for the coming year remain the same as last year and we hope that you will agree that this is fantastic value for the facility. Forms are also available on the club web site and in the 'shed'. It would be helpful if you could complete and return the form ASAP.

Wimbledon Ticket Draw for 2021:
In previous years we have held a draw at the AGM to distribute our allocated Wimbledon tickets from the LTA. The 2021 draw is different as it will be fully administered for us by the LTA themselves.
To be eligible to participate you need to be a club member and a LTA member (previously known as a British Tennis member), and then to 'opt in' to the LTA ballot which opens in the New Year.
The LTA Lite membership is free to all members including juniors, and can be quickly gained by registering on the LTA web site (www.lta.org.uk), however, you must select Jordans TC as your 'place to play' to be included in the clubs allocation.
Having got the membership, all club members existing and new, need to OPT IN to the draw on the LTA website, which should go live in the New Year. Please note that enrolling as a member DOES NOT enter you in the draw you must OPT IN.
There is a deadline for opting in and failure to do so by this date will result in your exclusion.
I will send out a further email once these dates are known.

JTC Court resurfacing:
You may have noticed that the court has been cleaned this week, this is a precursor to the planned resurfacing of the court in March 2021, the precise date of which will be subject to 'favourable weather conditions' and I will advise you as soon as we have a confirmed date. This may inconvenience some of you and may result in cancellation of some bookings over a period of several days. We apologise for this but trust you understand the constraint we face in weather forecasting. In order to minimise the 'downtime' of the court, we plan to resurface as soon as we can, and finish with white lines on the black tarmac. Once the weather is warmer we will again have to close the court for a couple of days whilst the surface in re-painted to the dual green finish.
