James Roy our court sweeper for the last few years has moved to further his education/career so is no longer available. Our thanks go to James for the contribution he has made to the club and best wishes for the future.
We therefore need a teenager (ideally a member who lives in the village) who would like to earn some extra money and help the club. The task is not too onerous, sweeping the court once a week through until Christmas (ie until all the autumn leaves are gone) and then every fortnight throughout the rest of the year. For this the club will pay £12 for each session. The timing of the court cleaning is upto the individual, just book the court out at a time that fits with school, family and social activity and record the date on the sheet provided in the 'shed'. Periodically they should submit their 'invoice' to Giles Sandeman-Allen for payment.
